Dean formed Open Door Design almost two decades ago having his original roots in mechanical, electrical and hydraulic design. Working on projects including NATO bases, coal mines and nuclear power stations, it's easy to see why systems and design ethics feature so strongly.

Finding a passion for brand and business strategy immediately prior to forming the business, Dean led the expansion and promotion of a significant UK manufacturing business to successful sale, becoming a market leader in UK and Europe.

An obsession for detail and perfection often makes Dean difficult to work with but he continually drives the business and cohesive team to higher levels.

Are you a workaholic?

No, not at all. I just love what we do and am very proud of our achievements over the years. I don't agree with unnecessary long hours but do strongly believe in enjoying the fruits of your efforts.

Biggest frustrations?

Seeing the goals and potential open to all of us but being met with complacency or lack of ambition - I really do believe in 'one-life'. Make the most of it for both yourself and those who rely upon you. Passion and influence - for everything. The world is full of talent and energy and I surround myself with that type of person.

Punjabi MC and Mad Lion - crazy, crazy songs!
