Open Door Design takes its social responsibility seriously. "By George ... it's Scrummy" written by Katie Taylor in aid of Lymphoedema.

Project: Children's cookery book and charity fundraiser

Timescales: 3 months from initial brief to production

Background: Open Door Design was asked to support Katie Taylor in her quest to raise awareness and support her fundraising activity in support of young people suffering from Lymphoedema. Katie created the concept of combining child friendly recipes with her passion for supporting Lymphoedema sufferers.

The Brief: We were commissioned to design, artwork and produce a cook book comprising of a collection of simple, country, seasonal recipes and make it stand out from all the others on the kitchen shelf!

Execution: Embracing Katie's passion for food and fundraising, we created a unique and differentiated cookery book that met all Katie's objectives.

Outcome: In addition to the book, we created 'luncheon and book launch' invitations for events as well as promotional literature and POS. Katie's book continues to successfully raise funds for Lymphoedema sufferers.
